Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of this website and the booking of paid consultations with Argyn Law, PLLC. Please read them carefully.
01 Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use apply to argynlaw.com and to consultations booked through it with Argyn Law, PLLC ("Argyn Law," the "Firm," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the website or booking a consultation, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book a consultation.
02 About the Firm
Argyn Law, PLLC is a New York professional law firm. Practice outside New York is limited to federal immigration and nationality law. Business law consultations cover matters within New York.
03 No legal advice through the website
Website information is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Immigration and business law depend on specific facts and change over time. Do not act or refrain from acting based on website content without advice from a qualified attorney about your situation.
04 Attorney-client relationship
Using the website, submitting an inquiry, or contacting the Firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. A consultation does not by itself create an ongoing attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only after the Firm completes its review and confirms the engagement in a written agreement.
Please do not send confidential or highly sensitive information through the website before an engagement is confirmed. Submitting an inquiry or booking a consultation does not stop or extend any filing deadline, response period, status expiration, court date, or other legal deadline.
05 Paid consultations
- Fees: $100 for a 30-minute consultation, or $200 for a 60-minute consultation. The full fee is paid when you book.
- Payment: card payments are processed by Stripe, and PayPal payments by PayPal.
- Format: a Google Meet video call, or a phone call from the attorney to the number you provide. You choose when you book.
- Scope: a consultation covers the time booked and is based on the information you provide. Booking a consultation does not guarantee that the Firm will accept representation.
The Firm may cancel a booked consultation, for example if a conflict of interest is identified. In that case you will receive a full refund or a free reschedule.
06 Cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds
- Reschedule 24 hours or more before your appointment: free, once.
- A further reschedule, even 24 hours or more before, is treated as a cancellation and a new booking: we refund the fee minus the processing fee, and you book and pay for the new time.
- Cancel 24 hours or more before: a refund minus a non-refundable processing fee of $7 (30-minute) or $12 (60-minute).
- Cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before: a refund minus a short-notice charge of $20 (30-minute) or $35 (60-minute), for the attorney’s reserved time.
- No-show: no immediate refund. Your fee can be applied once to a new consultation booked within 30 days. If you do not rebook within 30 days, or you ask us for a refund instead, we refund the fee minus $50 (30-minute) or $100 (60-minute) for the attorney’s reserved time and preparation. If you also miss the rebooked consultation, we refund the fee minus $50 (30-minute) or $100 (60-minute); the credit cannot be used a second time.
- If we need to cancel, or the attorney joins more than 10 minutes late (30-minute) or 15 minutes late (60-minute): a full refund or a free reschedule, your choice. If the attorney is late by less, your consultation still runs its full length.
